FAQs
What is parasailing?
Parasailing is a recreational kiting activity where a person is towed behind a Fury boat while attached to a specially designed parachute, known as a parasail wing. The harness attaches the pilot to the parasail, which is connected to the boat by a tow rope. The boat then drives off, carrying the parasail chute and person(s) safely into the air. Up to three people can parasail at the same time. It’s also one of the coolest things to do in Key West!
How high and long do you fly in the air?
You will be about 300 feet in the air for approximately 8-10 minutes from takeoff to landing. Take off and landing are both on the boat, so you don’t even have to get wet!
Do you get wet?
Not necessarily, but you do have the option to be dipped in the water or to have a dry takeoff and landing.
